THE FOUNDATION "Spiritual Heritage of St. Paul the Apostle" was created by the blessing of the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Alexy II and the Patriarch of Antioch and all East Ignatius IV in 2003. The first work of the Foundation was the restoration of the Patriarch monastery complex in Kaukab village - the place of the visitation of Our Lord Jesus Christ to St.Paul - and creation of monument to St.Paul here. TODAY the prior activity of the Foundation of St. Paul the Apostle is the creation of monument to Christ the Savior on the old pilgrim route from Russia to Jerusalem - on a mountain top, where are located the ancient Orthodox monasteries - Sednaya, Maalyulya, St.George and The Cherubim. This area - the only place on earth where Aramaic is preserved - the language of our Lord Jesus Christ.
